The waterfalls

On the 9th of August, the youth boarded the bus and went to the Aruu waterfalls. It was a bit of a treacherous journey due to all the rain!
We reached the top of the falls and began the descent. It was very steep and slippery. We were given sticks to guide us. We had to cross part of the river, some kept their shoes on while others went bare foot.
Many of us fell in a hole in the rocks and were sporting different cuts and grazes - oops.

We finally got to the base of the falls and stood staring in wonder and the sheer power of the waterfalls.
We all took lots of pictures at the base.

On the 12th of August we all boarded a boat and travelled to the bottom of Murchison falls. We saw hippos, lots of crocodiles, birds and colobus monkeys. We also got very close to an elephant which was special for many.
On our way back to Entebbe (13/08/25) we stopped at the top of Murchison falls. The sheer amount of power that it has is insane. God's creation really is wonderful! At the top we all got soaked.
